fix for substance data extraction (extracted data was not loaded into form, sorry for one wrong line of code) I think this is a good chance to make sure the tables and fields are all in the correct state.

I personally do not like this new version of PHP any more: the strictness requires more programmatic checks and boilerplate code, but it does not pay out in terms of performance. Please test this version with a backup of your data and give me feedback. This version may still have many bugs, but I tried to go through the key features and catch any missing array keys, fix implicitly initialized variables.
